Community Relations Director
Weatherly Inn is a family-owned senior living community known for excellence in memory care and resident-centered support. We work closely with families to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a warm, professional environment.
We are seeking a dynamic Community Relations Director to lead marketing and outreach efforts, manage prospective resident relationships, and strengthen community connections. This role combines marketing, event planning, and relationship management to ensure high-quality resident experiences and visibility in the community.
Key responsibilities include managing prospects from initial inquiry to move-in; conducting tours and re-tours; coordinating with care providers and referral agencies; planning, coordinating, and executing community events and advertising campaigns; utilizing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) to promote programs and services; developing and managing department budgets; serving as liaison for external groups booking facilities; attending local health-related and civic organization meetings;
maintaining building and grounds for optimal “curb appeal”; and supporting marketing team and management initiatives; performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a GED or High School Diploma required; college degree in Marketing, Management, or related field preferred; 3+ years of experience in marketing, community relations, or similar role;
Food Handlers certification required (within 14 days);
Washington State Driver’s License; proficiency in social media, graphic design, and writing press/news releases; and strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
Physical requirements include lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs; pushing 250 lbs in wheelchair or cart; and sitting, standing, walking, squatting, bending, and performing repetitive arm/hand movements.
