This supplemental position is designed for nursing students preparing for RN licensure who want to build confidence, strengthen clinical skills, and work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a supportive rural hospital.

About the Role As a Nursing Technician, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the scope of your nursing education and Washington State Nursing Technician license. This position offers valuable clinical experience while helping prepare you for a successful transition to professional nursing.
This position is available while actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program and may continue for up to six months following graduation, unless otherwise arranged.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse
* Gather patient information and support nursing care activities within your approved scope of practice
* Collaborate with nurses and the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, education, and competency development
* Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient care
Minimum Qualifications
* Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited BSN nursing program
* Successful completion of the first semester of a BSN program
* Successful completion of at least one clinical rotation prior to orientation
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
* Current Washington State Nursing Technician License
* Current BLS certification
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
