Shift: 1:30PM‑10:00PM (weekend focused schedule). Half‑hourly rate: $25.50 an hour + $1.50 shift differential.
Reporting to the Quality Team Leader, the role supports food safety and quality during weekend operations, working a five‑day work week based on candidate preference and business needs.
Responsibilities- Perform finished product evaluations to confirm products meet quality, safety, and specification requirements.
- Monitor and document Critical Control Points to verify product is cooked and processed properly.
- Verify operators are completing required tasks correctly and following established procedures.
- Conduct environmental and equipment swabbing to support sanitation and food safety programs.
- Administer the rejection and hold program by placing product on hold when issues are identified and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Verify production lines are clean and ready prior to start‑up and following sanitation activities.
- Document findings, deviations, and corrective actions using required systems and logs.
- Partner with production, sanitation, and leadership teams to support compliance and continuous improvement during weekend shifts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Flexibility to work a weekend‑focused schedule, including Thursday‑through‑Monday or Friday‑through‑Tuesday.
- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
