* ** Retail Account Manager**, you’ll bring your deep produce expertise and industry connections to grow our retail business. You’re more than a salesperson—you’re a trusted advisor who understands what it takes to deliver the right product at the right time to independent grocery retailers.
** Your role:
*** Drive sales growth by leveraging your produce knowledge and customer network
* Build and maintain strong relationships with independent and multi-store retail accounts
* Negotiate pricing, commodity programs, and promotions with buyers
* Partner with the Director of Retail Sales to develop accurate forecasts and sales strategies
* Collaborate closely with operations and transportation to ensure flawless service execution
* Stay ahead of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to maximize opportunities
** What You’ll Bring to the Table:
*** Minimum
** 3 years of recent fresh produce experience (e.g. sales, brokerage, procurement, or retail)
*** Existing network of retail contacts in Washington strongly preferred
* Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets with year-over-year growth
* Strong understanding of commodity pricing, supply chain dynamics, and retail merchandising
* Reputation for professionalism, integrity, and delivering results
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting market demands
