Description
General ResponsibilitiesSince 1983, Vehrs Distributing has been on a mission to create and deliver the finest premium wine and spirits portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. As we expand our offerings to include non‑alcoholic beverages and reach more clients in the Western Washington region, we’re looking for an experienced, results‑driven Chain Support Coordinator. This position will provide support to the Chain Sales Team.
Reporting to the Chain Account Manager, this role requires frequent travel throughout the territory and a strong presence in the local marketplace.
- Support strong relationships with buyers and decision‑makers
- Support placements, features, and promotions
- Identify growth opportunities within accounts
- Ensure consistent execution across all locations
- Maintain consistency across multi‑location accounts
- Monitor program performance and provide feedback via Execution Tracker
- Partner with District Sales Managers to ensure field execution
- Coordinate with Operations on delivery and service needs
- Work with Commercial Operations on program structure and pricing
- Communicate needs and insights back to leadership
- Forecast volume and promotional activity
- Align forecasts with Portfolio and Purchasing teams
- Monitor account performance against plan
Skills & Qualifications
- Two (2) + years of experience in beverage/alcohol distribution, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or grocery preferred.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Western Washington competitive landscape.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
- Competent with mobile devices, email, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety standards of various retailers.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods across large‑format stores.
- Able to bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders for shelf access.
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (cases, displays, POS).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred; equivalent sales/distribution experience considered.
- Wine/spirits knowledge required.
This is a full time hourly position at $25/hour.

- This position starts at 80 hours of paid vacation per year. Our tiered accrual schedule increases based on seniority, capping at 160 hours after six years of service.
- 10 days of paid sick leave per year

- Participation in Washington Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) and the WA Cares Fund (Long‑Term Care).
