About the role

Sunbound is hiring a Strategic Account Executive to drive enterprise growth across mid‑market and multi‑site senior living operators. This is a “hunter” sales role responsible for sales pipeline development, executive engagement, negotiation, and close. Success requires executive presence, disciplined pipeline management, and a consultative approach to complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.

What you'll do
  • Strategic Pipeline & Revenue Ownership
    • Build, qualify, and manage your high‑quality pipeline across mid‑market, enterprise senior living accounts.
    • Drive new logo acquisition within complex, multi‑location operators.
    • Maintain 3‑4x pipeline coverage and accurate forecasting in CRM.
    • Execute structured, milestone‑driven sales cycles from prospecting through contract signature.
  • Strategic, Consultative Selling
    • Lead executive‑level engagements (C‑suite, finance, operations leaders).
    • Conduct rigorous discovery to uncover operational pain, financial impact, and buying criteria.
    • Translate operator needs into persona‑tailored, ROI‑driven Sunbound solutions.
    • Position Sunbound in terms of measurable business outcomes: improved cash flow, AR performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Deal Management
    • Navigate multi‑stakeholder decision processes across finance, operations, and executive sponsors.
    • Drive structured deal progression with defined next steps, risk mitigation, and mutual action plans.
    • Negotiate sales contract terms to close high‑value transactions.
  • Partnership & Market Leadership
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, pricing, and implementation teams to develop competitive win strategies.
    • Provide structured market feedback to inform positioning and roadmap prioritization.
    • Represent Sunbound at industry events and executive forums within the senior living ecosystem.
What we're looking for
  • 6+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally within healthcare, post‑acute care, or adjacent financial workflows.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales quotas in long‑cycle, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence financial and operational decision‑makers.
  • Strong forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene.
  • Clear, persuasive communication with financial and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Resilience, ownership mindset, and bias toward execution.
  • Self‑starter with ability to thrive in autonomous, start‑up environment.
  • Up to 40% travel (trade shows, client visits) and collaborate across time zones.
What will make you stand out
  • Experience in Age Tech, Senior Living, or Post‑Acute Care.
  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or financial operations workflows.
  • Experience in a high‑growth SaaS or venture‑backed environment.
  • Background in finance, accounting, or operational leadership is a plus.
