Junior Sales Representative; Bilingual in Chinese or Korean​/English; Food Distributor

A leading Asian food distributor is seeking a dynamic and bilingual Junior Sales Representative to join our team in Kent, WA. (You must be able to speak more than business level of Chinese or Korean) .

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and a deep appreciation for Asian food culture
. You will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with clients and vendors, driving sales growth, and identifying market opportunities across the region.

You will be required to be working in the office when you are not meeting with your clients. This position is full-time and direct hired position. You will have a probation period, but after completing the term, you will receive the benefit package.

• Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective accounts
• Serve as the primary liaison for Japanese and English-speaking clients
• Handle inquiries, orders, and contract negotiations with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand product offerings and increase market share
• Present new products and conduct regular sales performance reviews with stakeholders
• Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and product availability
• Provide feedback to product development and quality assurance teams based on customer insights
• Conduct market research on trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the regional community
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
• Escalate concerns when necessary to maintain high levels of satisfaction
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and performance reports
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Other duties are assigned

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field of study
• Minimum 2-3 year of experience in account management, sales, or customer service (food distribution industry is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Asian food products and culture
• Fluency in Chinese or Korean and English (verbal and written)
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting 50lbs
