About the Role
As a Specialist in Asset Protection for Global Supply Chain (GSC), you help ensure the safety and security of Gap Inc. distribution centers. You monitor access points, respond to incidents, and support investigations. You play a critical role in protecting people, property, and product while maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
ScheduleTues‑Sat 11pm‑7:30am (Base Schedule).
What You’ll Do- Monitor entrances, exits, and access control systems to ensure secure operations.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
- Support investigations and maintain accurate incident reports.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify risks and ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and visitors on safety protocols.
- Operate surveillance and security systems in accordance with company guidelines.
- Collaborate with AP leadership to support daily operations and special projects.
- Good understanding of safety and security procedures.
- Ability to respond to incidents and follow emergency protocols.
- Strong observational and documentation skills.
- Effective communicator with internal teams and external partners.
- CPR/First Aid certification (American Red Cross preferred).
- Training in conflict resolution, de‑escalation, or customer experience.
- 3+ years of security, concierge, or hospitality experience or high‑security environment.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience with CCTV/VMS, access control platforms, radios, or other security technologies.
- Ability to walk, stand, patrol multiple floors, and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
