Job Title:
Warehouse Associate
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
Hours of Work: 2nd Shift: 12:30pm - 9:00pm
Location: 27402 72nd Ave So., Kent, WA 98032
Representation:
After 30 days, required to become a due paying or financial core member of Int. Brotherhood of Teamsters Union #117.
This role primarily involves working under the direction of a Warehouser to carry out a range of tasks, including assisting with the movement of materials on and off the router cutting table and supporting operations at the water-jet cutting table. Additional duties include removing and inserting screws, as well as aiding in the sanding of bundles. The position requires heavy lifting as part of its responsibilities.

Job Skills /Experience
- Able to do simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Able to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16'.
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
- Work under the direction of a Warehouser to perform various tasks.
- Assist with the movement of materials on and off the router cutting table.
- Support operations at the water-jet cutting table.
- Remove and insert screws as needed.
- Aid in the sanding of bundles.
- Perform heavy lifting as required.
Job Skills /Experience
- Experience operating side loader.
- Experience operating metal cutting saws and shears.
- Able to measure accurately with a micrometer.
- Knowledge of corrosion-resistant metals.

Physical RequirementsPhysical work is defined in the medium strength category. This work requires continual handling of various weights as work order varies. Standing and walking are the inherent features of this work when retrieving orders. Some intermittent sitting may occur when operating the forklift or side loader.
This position requires the following in an 8-hour workday:
Standing: 30-1 hours 6 hours
Walking: 30-1 hour 6 hours
Sitting: 15-45 minutes 1 hour
