Tire & Lube Technician

The Tire & Lube Technician will be responsible for the proper dismounting, mounting, pressing, and repairing of tires on lift trucks and lubricating related equipment while ensuring the proper handling of customers’ equipment according to OSHA Standards, disposal of scrap tires, and safe operation of customer and company vehicles. The technician will complete and manage paperwork for each job and provide exceptional customer service on job sites and while traveling in a company vehicle.

• Complete mounting and dismounting of all types of tires.
• Perform tire rotations to ensure even tire wear and test tire pressure, adding air as needed.
• Apply lubricants to moving parts of forklift engines and wheel bearings.
• Press and reinstall tires safely.
• Make recommendations for additional servicing based on forklift inspection.
• Maintain proper paperwork and recordkeeping.
• Operate independently or as a team member as job requires.
• Ensure workplace and company press truck remain clean.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior knowledge of material handling equipment is a plus.
• Clear background check and pre‑employment drug screen (required).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus) with a clean driving record.
• Professionalism and diplomacy to approach others and manage ambiguous situations with clarity and self‑control.

The position requires the ability to sit for long periods, travel, drive off company grounds, and handle moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, or solvents with appropriate safety procedures. The technician must have normal manual dexterity, be able to manipulate a keyboard and phone, and be able to move or lift up to 75 lbs (occasionally). Ability to walk on concrete floors, climb, push, lift, bend, squat, crouch, and reach is required.

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (hours may vary due to workload).

The hourly range for this position is $22.90 – $28.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including relevant experience, education, and work location.
