Plumbing Helper

Overview

As a Plumbing Helper for DEAR Services, you will work with your hands and engage with clients doing maintenance and service tasks. You will work one-on-one with residential clients to install customized solutions that fit our clients’ needs, wants, and budget while showing craftsmanship.

• Perform maintenance and service tasks for residential clients
• Install customized plumbing solutions that fit client needs and budget
• Engage with clients to clearly communicate what work is being done
• Work one-on-one with customers to ensure quality workmanship
• Operate hand and power tools as part of daily tasks
• Travel to customer locations as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adapt to a variety of residential plumbing systems
• Work effectively in small spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)

• 1+ years of residential plumbing experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with a variety of residential plumbing systems, hand/power tools, and trade knowledge
• Comfortable communicating with customers in all types of circumstances
• Positive attitude
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have own tools
• Must be comfortable operating in small spaces (crawl spaces and attics)
• Hard working and reliable
• Must have a valid WA State driver’s license
• Must pass a background check
