Journeyman Service Plumber Qualifications:
- Valid WA State 01 Journeyman Plumber license
- 4+ years (8,000+ hours) of hands-on residential or commercial plumbing experience
- Proven track record of successful plumbing installations or services
- Ability to pass an exam, with a willingness to take 16 hours of continuing education and be supervised by a certified plumber to start
- Ability to bring your own tools
- Ability to accurately install plumbing hardware, lift 50 pounds, work in small spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.), and follow all safety procedures/building codes
- Ability to work independently as needed, stay organized, and manage your time effectively
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with customers, coworkers, inspectors, and suppliers
- Valid WA driver's license with a good driving record
- Reliable, positive, and hard-working attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
Our Journeyman Service Plumbers are master problem solvers who can evaluate systems, diagnose problems, and complete the right hands-on solutions. You'll work independently and with team members to provide excellent customer service while performing timely, high-quality work. Armed with your trade tools and a good attitude, you'll professionally speak with customers about their needs before getting to work repairing and maintaining residential and commercial plumbing systems.
