Corliss Resources LLC seeks a Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, repair, and optimize equipment at our construction materials facilities. You'll troubleshoot mechanical issues on conveyors, crushers, mixers, and related plant machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and complete welding, fabrication, and component replacements to keep production running safely and efficiently. Working in a family-owned, safety-first culture, you'll collaborate closely with production teams, follow strict LOTO and OSHA standards, and support reliable, on-time delivery of aggregates and ready-mix products.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, crushers, mixers, and related plant equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Conduct welding, cutting, and basic fabrication for repairs and modifications
- Install, align, and rebuild bearings, gearboxes, motors, and other components
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and OSHA requirements
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to prioritize maintenance needs
- Document maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment condition
- Assist with equipment upgrades, rigging, and plant improvement projects
