This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Boeing Phantom Works Space is seeking software developers to support code generation for highly embedded systems.
Familiarity with C/C++, Linux or Peta Linux development required. Familiarity with CMake is preferred. Candidates should have experience with and knowledge of aerospace and/or electrical systems as well as hardware development and bring up. Seeking highly motivated self-starters capable of executing as part of a fast paced multi-disciplinary team.
- Supports code generation for highly embedded systems
- Supports development of broad, open-architecture approach
- Works with multi-disciplinary team to rapidly prototype hardware solutions
- Responsible for developing code and insuring proper execution on target processors
- Works under general supervision.
- 5+ years embedded programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Linux and/or Peta Linux
- Experience with hardware-software integration
- Experience with and knowledge of aerospace systems and/or electrical systems
- Experience with CMake
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of executing as part of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team
85 - 90 USD hourly
