Truck Driver - Local Class B - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class B CDL Truck Drivers

Earn $27.49 per hour, OT after 40 hours.

Local, home daily.

You will drive:

• Late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Inward and outward facing in-cab cameras for safety

What you will do:

• Loading and unloading crates of groceries to grocery stores
• Home daily

Schedule:

• Floater: schedule as needed, typically dispatch between 9pm-11pm
• Days and hours vary based on coverage needed
• Operation operates 24 hours 7 days a week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Undertake non-exempt interstate DOT medical card requirement
• 1 year of documented commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• English language proficiency required by federal law
• Work required schedule and location; complete employment application, background investigation and drug screening
• Are required to work at constant alertness and in safety-sensitive role; must accept responsibility for own safety and safety of others

Physical requirements:

• Ability to see and hear; specific vision abilities required by this job
• Must be able to move frequently, lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area
