As a Driver / Field Service Representative, you will manage the end‑to‑end process of cleaning, maintaining, and transporting Arjo medical rental equipment to nursing homes and hospitals in the region. Operating out of our Kent service center, you will utilize company vehicles to travel to various medical sites throughout the Seattle‑Tacoma area.
Schedule Details: This is a full‑time role working Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with additional requirements for rotating on‑call support.
Core Responsibilities:
- Organize medical devices and necessary paperwork for scheduled transport
- Manage the loading and unloading of equipment
- Operate a 26‑foot box truck to complete equipment drop‑offs and retrievals
- Ensure all transport‑related documentation is processed accurately
- Help keep our fleet in top condition by overseeing routine maintenance and logging service history
- Sanitize and disinfect medical gear to meet strict Arjo quality benchmarks
- Provide exceptional service to ensure a positive experience during every patient and client interaction
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of high school or a GED equivalent
- A spotless driving history is mandatory
- At least two years of professional experience in operations or service roles
- Minimum of two years working in a direct customer‑facing capacity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Capacity to lift 75 lbs and maneuver up to 135 lbs through pushing or pulling
- Capability to operate a commercial work vehicle
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment that is not climate‑controlled while using cleaning solvents to sanitize products
Compensation and Benefits:
