Local Class A Delivery Driver – Home Daily (Kent, WA)

Compensation: $35.00 per hour (average $95,000 per year). Pay is weekly. Union:
Teamster 117.

• 4 days on / 3 days off (must work Saturdays and Sundays)
• Afternoon/Evening dispatch between 3 PM and 6 PM
• No layovers; employees return home daily
• Single route with 14–18 stops per shift
• Average 11–13 hours per shift

• 100% touch freight delivery; must lift up to 75+ pounds
• All trailers have liftgates (no ramps)
• 36‑53 foot reefer trailers

• Valid driver’s license and a current DOT Medical Certification card
• Class A CDL required
• One year of refrigerated trailer experience
• One year of tractor‑trailer driving experience
• Effective communication skills to maintain positive customer relations with drivers, warehouse personnel, customers, and supervisors
• Ability to stand, walk, and repeatedly climb into/out of tractors
• Must be able to work all schedules, including holidays and weekends
• Requires safely operating equipment in extreme weather and cold environments (cooler/freezer)
• Ability to frequently lift/handle cases ranging from 5–75 pounds
• Must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations requirements: read/speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand highway signs, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports/records
