- Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Follow designated routes and schedules, making necessary adjustments when required
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by providing assistance when needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
- Report any maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing their personal belongings
- Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents in accordance with company protocols
- Keep records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other required documentation
- Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures
- Fully Licensed with Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Possesses Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction
- 22 years of age or older
- Able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

DM Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of specialized equipment, including hook lift trucks, grapple trucks, and mosquito trucks used for debris, yard waste, and bulky material collection throughout Western Washington, with primary service areas based around Fife, Washington. This role is work order-based rather than route-based, requiring flexibility and the ability to travel to different job sites across the region.
It is a hands-on, equipment-focused position that combines skilled driving with the operation of hydraulic systems to safely pick up, load, and transport materials that standard collection vehicles cannot handle. If you have experience operating manual-transmission trucks and working with roll-off, hook-lift, grapple, or other heavy equipment, and are seeking a stable, full-time driving position with competitive pay and strong benefits, this is a great opportunity.
Pay and Schedule
- Competitive hourly wage: $35.00-$35.50 per hour
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
- Approximately 45-hour work week with overtime opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles, including hook lift, grapple, and mosquito trucks
- Operate manual transmission vehicles (10, 13, or 18-speed)
- Complete assigned work orders at various customer locations across Western Washington
- Travel between job sites, with primary service concentrated in the Fife area
