The Delivery Driver operates a commercial motor vehicle engaged in the delivery of bulk products to customers, along with deliveries between plants. Makes special runs for products needed for internal shop uses. Makes various deliveries based on the needs of both plants. Warehouse helper when there are no deliveries required for that day or period. Helper requirements consist of deburring parts, along with cleaning throughout the shop as well as helping others in various areas.

Performs tasks general and assigned daily. General tasks include but are not limited to picking up and delivering as asked by shipping and receiving supervisor, handling weights up to 100 pounds, following direction of your area Lead, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Perform all other tasks assigned by your Lead or Production Manager that are within your skill and knowledge level.

Maintain a satisfactory driving record. Any infractions committed while operating a company vehicle are the responsibility of the driver operating the vehicle at that time.

• Complete all pickups and deliveries in a timely manner to our customer's place of business.
• Collects money from COD customers and records transactions on customer receipt.
• Assist shipping department in packaging orders for delivery
• Assist shipping department in receiving material
• Wash truck weekly, detail interior twice a week.
• Keep track of oil changes and maintenance done and required on truck.
• Records deliveries information on delivery record.
• Loads truck.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Performs Maintenance/Fabrication projects as time allows
• Operate forklift
• Forklift training and certifications as required for shop employees.

Other duties may be assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.

Active, Valid Washington State Driver’s License, Forklift Certification (training provided)

Scheduled shift Monday through Friday: 7 am to 3:30 pm with overtime opportunities.
