Shift A – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (PST)
Hours: Minimum 45 hours/week with opportunity to work 50–55 hours/week
Overtime: Available
Position SummaryThe Inventory Associate I supports fulfillment and manufacturing operations by ensuring the accurate receiving, movement, storage, and documentation of materials. This role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement, safety, quality control, and problem-solving within a highly technical warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, monitoring, and escalating workflow roadblocks that could cause downstream defects
- Assist with root cause analysis and provide detailed problem-solving input
- Safely operate PIT equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, and electronic pallet jacks (EPJs)
- Unload inbound shipments delivered by external carriers
- Inspect incoming packages for compliance with standard operating procedures
- Perform quality control checks based on part number requirements
- Document receipts and close work orders using inventory management systems
- Perform accurate data entry related to physical inventory movements
- Identify appropriate packaging and properly wrap, store, and protect parts
- Sort, stage, and secure materials to prevent loss within the workflow
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all parts
- Assign storage locations and conduct inventory audits per SOP
- Follow all PPE requirements and safety regulations
- 2+ years of fulfillment center, warehouse, or inventory operations experience
- Experience with receiving and inventory control functions
- Previous certified forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to world‑class quality
- Strong communication skills in a technical environment
- Mathematical and analytical skills to evaluate data and solve problems
- Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Ability to build trust, maintain professional relationships, and support an inclusive culture
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry
