Kent, WA | Job Type: Seasonal | Pay: $21.00 - $22.50
About the Role:
You are the engine of our logistics network, responsible for ensuring customers receive their orders quickly and in perfect condition. You will handle large volumes of product and focus on speed, safety, and attention to detail.
- Handling & Movement:
Safely load, unload, and move large and small furniture orders and inventory of various sizes, manually lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted and handling up to 150 lbs with team lifting. - Technology & Inventory:
Use scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse software to track, process, and update inventory and order locations across all operational stages. - Quality & Preparation:
Perform comprehensive quality control tasks, including inspecting, assembling, repackaging, labeling, and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping. - Safety & Teamwork:
Strictly adhere to safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized area (5S), and support a safe, efficient work environment.
- Physical Capability:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (8+ hours a day) in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Ability to frequently lift and move merchandise up to 75+ lbs unassisted.
- Able to read and comprehend English to ensure safety.
- Preferred:
Previous warehouse, logistics, or comparable experience; high school diploma or GED. - Technical
Skills:
Basic ability to use computers, tablets, and handheld inventory devices.
