Inventory Control Clerk (Aftermarket)Perform material movement, counting, and issuing functions for aerospace parts and details. Pull work orders for the manufacturing floor and receive completed details from work orders and purchase orders. Work effectively as part of a team or independently as needed. Handle parts carefully and verify that details are free of defects during movement and processing.
Functions and Responsibilities- Receiving and issuing parts or tooling, store keeping and inventory control, cycle counting, scanning, document control, housekeeping, moving parts and materials.
- Participate in basic stores functions to support internal customers and maintain inventory control.
- Meet expectations for output and efficiency.
- Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and self‑motivation with an action‑oriented bias.
- Identify and elevate problems or exceptions to the appropriate people.
- Communicate information clearly, both written and verbally.
- Understand daily department expectations.
- Use internal computer applications for basic inquiries, report generation, data entry, and scanning under staff oversight.
- Interpret and update work‑order documentation and other production documents.
- Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and other automated or manually operated equipment as necessary to support stores functions.
- Move parts and materials between work centers and across building locations.
- Work under limited oversight.
- Proactive positive attitude and represent the company effectively in all situations.
- Legible handwriting, strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and accurate record maintenance.
- Strong communication skills; identify variances, solve problems; exercise good judgment in decision‑making.
- Basic computer skills, including PC proficiency.
- Strong math skills.
- Basic understanding of router operations and sketches.
- Seek clarification when needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to move parts and assemble store racking and perform physical activities requiring arm and leg use, frequent movement, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and balancing.
Pay Range: $19.25/hr to $24.25/hr
