Position SummaryThe Warehouse Pharmacy Clerk plays a key role in supporting daily pharmacy distribution operations by ensuring accurate receiving, storage, inventory management, and fulfillment of pharmaceutical products and supplies. Responsibilities include maintaining organized inventory, preparing and labeling orders, assisting with shipment processing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards. The role collaborates with warehouse staff, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians to support efficient workflows, timely order fulfillment, and exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment are required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by performing routine cleaning and sanitizing work areas, ensuring aisles and storage locations are free of debris or hazards.
- Safely use warehouse equipment such as ladders, step stools, pallet jacks, and other tools to retrieve, stock, or move pharmaceutical inventory and supplies.
- Organize inventory systematically to support efficient workflow, accurate order fulfillment, and proper product rotation.
- Receive, label, store, and pick pharmaceutical products with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with packing and delivering products to customers in a timely and professional manner, meeting scheduled delivery times.
- Dispose of and destroy products as required by policy.
- Maintain and file packing lists.
- Perform material receiving, stocking, and shipping duties.
- Pass an annual eye exam.
- Routine, repetitive tasks within narrowly defined parameters.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Receive detailed instructions and work is routinely checked and monitored.
- Limited problem‑solving; basic judgment to resolve issues may be required.
- Primary contacts with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers; occasional contact with external contractors or vendors.
High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent required.
ExperiencecGMP training or experience desired; training will be provided.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentPerform duties requiring moderate exertion; lift up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly. Perform pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and reaching as necessary. Maintain visual acuity and hearing with or without corrective lenses. Work environment involves moderate noise with frequent exposure to warehouse or lab areas. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals in some areas.
Scheduleand Compensation
Schedule:
8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday‑Friday, occasional weekends.
Salary Range: $18.54 – $22.58 per hour.
