Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for a direct hire opportunity in Kent, WA. This role supports the daily material-handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory needs of an established industrial manufacturing and engineering environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, values accuracy, and takes pride in keeping materials organized and moving efficiently. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with purchasing, production, engineering, and operations teams in a safety-focused setting where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are highly valued.
The ideal candidate is comfortable in an industrial warehouse environment, understands the importance of accurate documentation, and can handle critical materials, parts, and components with care. This position offers stability, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the success of manufacturing and operations projects.
Key Responsibilities- Receive incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and components while verifying shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and related documentation.
- Inspect deliveries for visible damage, shortages, discrepancies, or missing items, and communicate issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Label, organize, store, pick, package, and prepare materials for internal projects and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with cycle counts, and support inventory reconciliation activities.
- Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, engineering, and other departments to support efficient material flow and project readiness.
