Senior Accountant - AP Supervisor

trak group is partnering with an employee-owned manufacturing company in Hebron, KY to identify a Senior Accountant - AP Supervisor. This role offers a clear promotion path to Accounting Manager within the first year and the opportunity to build long-term equity through the company’s ESOP program.

• Supervise the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct month-end close activities and prepare financial reports
• Oversee and review the work of AP team members
• Perform journal entries and month-end closing activities
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts monthly
• Record fixed assets and depreciation
• Book intercompany transactions and accruals
• Prepare sales tax schedules and analyze monthly expenditures
• Review AP invoices and process check runs
• Approve and prepare expense reports in Concur
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP aging
• Lead staff training and cross-functional collaboration
• Develop and implement procedures and internal controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience supervising accounts payable functions
• Strong month-end close and general ledger experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Location: Hebron, KY (100% In-Office)
• Growth Path: Promotion to Accounting Manager after first year
