Position Summary
The Account Director is responsible for owning client relationships and supporting overall revenue cycle performance for assigned accounts. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients while partnering with internal billing and accounts receivable teams to ensure efficient workflows, accurate reporting, and timely issue resolution. The Account Director plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction, identifying process improvements, and driving operational success.
Partner with the revenue department to expand the client base and promote organic growth with each account.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication
- Ensure client expectations and service deliverables are consistently met
- Identify and resolve risks and issues, and capitalize on opportunities for improvement
- Monitor billing and accounts receivable activities to ensure timely processing and follow-up
- Support reconciliation of billing, payments, and account balances
- Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve outcomes
- Manage enterprise billing and AR teams to align priorities and workflows
- Build and execute efficient work queue management and account assignment
- Own new provider setup and maintenance as needed
- Prepare and review reports on billing performance, payments, and AR trends
- Analyze data to identify issues and implement improvements
- Provide insights to clients and internal leadership
- Review client systems and workflows to identify and solve gaps or inefficiencies
- Recommend and support implementation of process improvements
- Help drive consistency and operational best practices across accounts
- Experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or healthcare operations
- Strong understanding of billing, claims follow-up, and accounts receivable processes
- Experience working with client systems and internal RCM platforms
- Familiarity with EHR or practice management systems (e.g., Epic preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

$120,000—$165,000 USD
