# Client Accounting Services StaffLA JOLLA, CA 92037## Overview Salary Range $29.00 - $39.00 Hourly## Description
Job description:
* Assist with daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
* Prepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate financial records and organize supporting documentation.
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
* Prepare financial reports and schedules for internal and client use.
* Support payroll processing and sales tax filings, as applicable.
* Ensure compliance with firm standards, accounting principles, and applicable regulations.
* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
* Take ownership of tasks and work with others to prioritize work assignments
* Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
* Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties
* Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality
* Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients#LI-DNI## Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following:
* 1-3 years of experience in public or private accounting
* Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Highly detail-oriented, organized and proactive
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service focus
* Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks; knowledge of CCH Axcess and Engagement a plus
* Technical skills reflective of experience
* An ability to work within a team framework and comfortable reporting to multiple people
