FCE is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Premium Invoicing Analyst I to join our dedicated Premium Accounting Department team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely financial operations related to client Health & Welfare Trusts. - Generate Invoices: Accurately prepare and issue invoices for clients to fund their Health & Welfare Trusts, ensuring continuous maintenance of fringe benefits.
- Data Reporting: Extract comprehensive monthly data from internal systems and report relevant information efficiently and on time to self-billed carriers.
- Reconciliation & Resolution: Reconcile benefit discrepancies identified between carrier reporting and our internal systems; collaborate cross-functionally with necessary departments to ensure timely resolution of data issues.
- Data Analysis (SQL & Excel®): Extract and manipulate large datasets using predetermined SQL queries. Utilize intermediate to expert-level Excel® functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, logical functions) to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve discrepancies found within system data.
- Accuracy & Integrity: Identify and investigate discrepancies within client reporting, utilizing meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Client Service: Ensure the timely delivery of resolved reporting and data to clients, maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and address shared data challenges.

- Excel® Proficiency (Critical): Must demonstrate Intermediate to Expert abilities within Microsoft Excel® The pre-screening process will assess your comfortability and ask for specific examples of how you utilize complex functions and formulas to manipulate data, troubleshoot issues, and generate reports.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable Knowledge: Must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding of AP/AR experience knowledge and accounting principles.
- Data Management: Ability to prepare, analyze, and prioritize data analysis tasks effectively.
- Benefits Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of employee benefits, to include HRA/HSA/FSA benefits.

Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are paramount. - Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
Education:
- Preferred Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in an insurance, employee benefits, accounts receivable or payable, and/or payroll position, preferably within a medium-to-large employer setting.
- Education (Preferred): A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to interpret a variety of complex instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities in an ever-changing, deadline-driven environment.
