Controller

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee and maintain accurate financial and accounting records across the company’s various lines of business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical and organizational skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting senior leadership.

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements for the company’s various businesses.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements for banks, including loan covenant analysis.
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries, including prepaid amortization, allocations, invoice accruals, and other adjusting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules by analyzing general ledger transactions.
• Record and reconcile e-commerce and credit card transactions.
• Reconcile bottle deposits and TOMRA transactions.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Record and reconcile inventory.
• Prepare financial reports for third parties, including licensors and sponsor ships, as well as reports for management.
• Provide financial and administrative support to the CFO and CEO.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow forecasting to support business operations.
• Provide accounting and reporting support for additional business ventures as needed.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting or Controller experience

• Strong understanding of financial accounting and general accounting principles.
• Experience preparing financial statements and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
