Superior and Basica are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Administrative & Accounting Specialist to support a variety of accounting and administrative functions within our Las Vegas office.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting, Billing & Financial Support
- Enter bills and invoices accurately into the appropriate systems.
- Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Assist with identifying and resolving discrepancies involving premiums, commissions, invoices, or payments.
- Assist with banking-related functions and financial transactions.
- Ensure payments and expenses are accurately allocated to the appropriate cost centers.
Administrative Support
- Retrieve, organize, and distribute emails and documentation to the appropriate individuals.
- Maintain organized electronic records and files.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with day-to-day office operations.
- Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as needed.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, bookkeeping, premium accounting, underwriting, or insurance operations is preferred but not required.
- Insurance industry experience is a strong plus
, particularly experience in underwriting, premium accounting, billing, or insurance operations. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and business information.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
