Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, declined and/or delayed payments and other irregularities
• Contact customers to negotiate payment arrangements on delinquent accounts
• Communicate account terms and payment programs to customers to resolve past due amounts
• Maintain accurate and up to date customer account information and delinquency status
• Maintain collection tracking system
• Proactively work to collect aging balances
• Record all transactions and customer notes in the system
• Research and resolve account discrepancies
• Respond to all customer and store inquiries/requests in a timely manner
• Charge credit cards when authorized

Basic/Preferred Skills

• 10 Key typing proficiency
• Strong attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• CDK Experience
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and/or job responsibilities.
• Ability to be self-motivated, take action, and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and/or with a team
