Accounting Specialist

Wabash is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our daily financial operations through accounts payable, payroll processing, bank deposits, account reconciliations, and other general accounting responsibilities.

• Process and manage accounts payable
• Prepare and record bank deposits
• Post journal entries and assist with month‑end closing
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Process payroll
• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed
• Work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime as needed

• Associate’s or bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Customer service experience is a plus
