VP Finance​/Accounting

We are a newly formed back-office services company supporting Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) with full-cycle accounting, financial operations, and compliance oversight. As we scale, we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Director to build, lead, and optimize our accounting function.

• Oversee all daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations for multiple SNF entities, including GL management, AP/AR oversight, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all facilities.
• Establish standardized accounting processes, controls, and best practices for a multi-facility SNF environment.
• Coordinate cost reports, audits, and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Manage relationships with facility administrators, management companies, and external CPA firms.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to track facility-level financial health (census, cash flow, AP aging, accruals, etc.).
• Hire, mentor, and supervise a growing accounting team (staff accountants, AP clerks, billers).
• Drive system implementation and optimization (Quick Books, Sage Intacct, or other SNF-focused accounting platforms).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for all facilities.
• Identify financial risks and process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
