Job Description Muslim Hands Inc (US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit) is seeking a Finance Manager for their Valley Stream, New York office with remote-eligible flexibility. The organisation works globally on poverty alleviation through clean water and sanitation (WASH), healthcare, education, food security, and emergency relief programmes.### Role responsibilities
* Day-to-day financial operations: invoice management, payroll processing, bank reconciliation, transaction tracking
* Maintain organised, current financial records and documentation
* Prepare financial statements and management reports
* Develop and administer annual budgets
* Ensure compliance with federal and state nonprofit regulations and grant requirements
* Review and enhance internal accounting controls and procedures
* Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows
* Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit cycles
* Support fund accounting and grant reporting### Requirements
* CPA credential (or actively pursuing certification)
* Minimum 3 years professional experience in financial management
* Proficiency:
Quick Books, Microsoft Office
* Preferred: nonprofit or charitable sector background, knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards, grant reporting, fund accounting
