* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
* Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable GAAP requirements.
* Perform, review and analyze a broad range of complex accounting activities in order to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts
* Conduct regular ledger maintenance
* Analyze expenses to evaluate cost opportunities
* Evaluate current work flow to recommend changes to increase accuracy and efficiencies
* Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
* Assist with External Financial Audit and follow up audit recommendations
* Establish and maintain records to document transactions
* Identify efficiencies and improvements in current accounting practices
* Foster a safe and environmentally sustainable workplace by ensuring compliance with all PCI EHS policies and procedures.

* Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or complex operating environment.
* CPA certification is highly preferred.
* Strong understanding of US GAAP.
* Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis.
* Experience with ERP/accounting systems; experience with large-scale ERP environments is a plus.
