We are seeking a detail-oriented person who will join our team. The P/T Collections Clerk to work approximately 20-25 hours per week.

This is an in-office position

** Responsibilities
* ** Contact customers via phone or email to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
* Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes, collaborating with internal departments such as sales and accounting.
* Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including correspondence, payment detail, and account adjustments.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to collections and debt recovery.
** Qualifications
* ** Proficient in Excel and willing to learn new systems to assist the department
* Good customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and in small groups.
