Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Falmouth, looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join its team. This is a varied opportunity offering regular client contact, broad technical exposure and the chance to continue developing your career within a supportive practice.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparing personal and corporate tax returns and associated computations
Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments where required
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Responding to client queries and providing practical accounting and taxation support
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines

As Accounts Senior, you'll bring:

Previous experience working within an accountancy practice and a strong grounding across accounts preparation and taxation.

An ACA or ACCA qualification would be advantageous, although candidates who are part-qualified or qualified by experience will also be considered. You'll be organised, technically capable and confident communicating with clients and colleagues, with a pro‑active approach to managing your workload.
