We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of public accounting experience
, strong tax preparation and review skills, and experience with Lacerte Tax Software
.

This is an in-office position. Candidates must live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance of our Kitty Hawk office.

• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns, including 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
  .
• Prepare and review tax work papers and supporting schedules.
• Review staff-prepared returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Research tax issues and assist with tax planning.
• Communicate directly with clients and taxing authorities.
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Stay current with federal and state tax laws.

• 7+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
• CPA or Enrolled Agent
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong experience with individual, estate/trust, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation returns
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work additional hours during tax deadlines
• Must be able to work in our Kitty Hawk office
