Duties:Perform a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable, reconciliation, fund management, and recordkeeping duties. Manage all payroll related finances as well as those relating to outside vendors. Prepare bills for payment by city comptroller including traditional vendors and other related expenses for various state and private projects. Prepare deposit of accounts receivables and expenditure transfers. Provides assistance to the Director of the Municipal Airport on expense reports and reconciliations.
Performs all other related or similar work as assigned.
Associates’ degree in Accounting, seven- (7-) ten (10) years’ accounting experience preferably in a municipal environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be familiar with MUNIS system. Experience in accounts payable and receivable plus contract management desirable.
