Accounting Associate

Junior Accountant

• Report directly to the CFO
• Work closely with the Controller and Senior Accountant
• Support day-to-day accounting and financial operations
• Great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of public accounting or private/industry accounting experience

• Prepare and process customer invoices and billing
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Post and reconcile cash receipts and payments
• Assist with accounts payable and vendor invoices
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and preparation of journal entries
• Maintain accurate and organized general ledger records
• Assist with accounting schedules and financial reporting
• Research and resolve billing and accounting discrepancies
• Support the Controller and Senior Accountant with various accounting projects and analysis
• Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly documented
• Assist with other accounting and finance responsibilities as needed
• Ideal Candidate
• 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting or private/industry experience both considered
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Comfortable working with invoicing, A/R and general accounting
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Eager to learn and take on additional responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
