Senior CFO, Family Office & Investment Accounting

A prominent single family office is hiring a hands‑on CFO to own day-to-day accounting and investment operations across a diverse portfolio of public and private investments, real estate, trusts and international entities. The role covers financial reporting, investment accounting, tax coordination and systems implementation, interfacing with custodians and advisors and supporting estate planning and trust administration. Requires 10+ years' accounting experience (CPA preferred) with multi-asset-class investment-accounting expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

owning accounting and financial reporting for the family entities; tracking private investment activity and reviewing fund documents; managing cash flow and reconciliations; assisting with tax planning and coordinating with advisors; implementing financial reporting systems; interfacing with custodians and advisors; and supporting estate planning and trust administration.

Qualifications:

10+ years of accounting experience; strong technical skills, with a CPA preferred; investment-accounting expertise across multiple asset classes; the ability to interpret fund documents; knowledge of trust and estate structures; and Excel proficiency. Compensation: $150,000–$250,000.
