Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

Location: Northern

Controller Hybrid | Boise,  | Full-Time, Exempt | Reports to CEOProvince Management Group seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. Responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, payroll oversight, compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and banking relationships.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate audits, tax filings, 401(k) audits, and intercompany billing.

Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis and business insights.

Improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
2+ years of PEO accounting, payroll tax, state and local tax, and accounting leadership experience.

Strong GAAP knowledge and financial controls experience.

Advanced Excel skills;
Sage Intacct preferred.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
