DescriptionSummary:
The Group Billing Coordinator at Rosen Hotels & Resorts plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes. This position is responsible for coordinating, preparing, and assisting in the collection of accounts receivable for group bookings, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are promptly resolved. The ideal candidate will uphold Rosen's Standards of service excellence and contribute toour properties' continued success and reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service by managing the billing process for group reservations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
- Verify and post receipts for all group accounts, including cash, check, and credit card transactions.
Resolve any billing discrepancies by investigating issues and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to group bookings.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient billing processes.
Assist in the collection of outstanding payments to secure company revenue.
Adhere to the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy, ensuring compliance at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/
Qualifications:
Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role, preferably within the hospitality industry required.
- Strong proficiency in computer and technology skills, including the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal staff and external clients.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college technical school preferred.
- At least one year of related experience or training in billing, finance, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
