Collections & Process Improvement Specialist

Chatham's Internal Finance team is looking to add an organized, inquisitive, and motivated Collections & Process Improvement Specialist to the team. The primary focus of this role will be leading the company's accounts receivable collection processes and potential related technology enhancements, as well as involvement in various improvement initiatives across the broader order-to-cash  this role you will:

Your work will help resolve payment issues, improve collection results, and support the overall financial health of the firm.

The ideal candidate will be able to address questions as they arise, communicate clearly with individuals at all levels, and collaborate effectively across teams. We are looking for a flexible and dependable team player who is willing to take ownership of both routine responsibilities and more complex collection matters in support of the team's success.

Qualifications Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.

Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills Knowledge of credit and collections best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with cash application and payment posting.
