Overview In this role, you will oversee core accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational alignment. You'll analyze variances, manage budgets, and maintain fixed asset records using SAP. You'll support SOX compliance, audits, and quality standards, providing critical financial insights to leadership. You will partner with Operations, Finance, and external auditors to uphold financial integrity and deadlines. This position offers a strategic environment to shape financial controls and reporting in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities- Post monthly journal entries and analyze cost variances for assigned business areas
- Prepare variance analyses and investigate unusual fluctuations in financial results
- Interface with operational departments to summarize financial impacts and provide insights
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies
- Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts, maintaining data accuracy in financial systems
- Maintain fixed asset records within SAP Fixed Asset module and ensure proper documentation
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing requested schedules during audits
- Document policies, procedures, and controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and organizational standards in all financial activities
- Bachelor in Accounting
- 7-10 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in SAP or other Tier I ERP systems, Excel, and Word
- Strong analytical abilities and financial detail orientation
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not mandatory
- CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with senior management and external auditors
- Ability to meet strict financial reporting deadlines, including occasional overtime
