About the RoleThis position provides assistance to faculty/staff and to Research, Grants & Contracts staff in the development and preparation of grant and contract proposals and awards from external funders. The Grant Administrator I will utilize electronic systems to conduct research in support of grant proposals and will assist faculty/staff in developing proposals and budgets.
Additional responsibilities include submitting proposals on behalf of faculty/staff at NKU, assisting other staff in the RGC office with grant‑related tasks, and participating in sponsored research initiatives and projects as assigned.
This is an entry‑level position that supports the RGC office in reviewing proposals, submitting proposals, researching available external funding opportunities, reviewing and confirming compliance requirements for proposals and awards, and assisting in the planning and execution of grant workshops, seminars and other RGC signature events throughout the year.

- Minimum bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience.
- Computer literate with the ability and willingness to continuously learn new electronic software systems for the submittal and awarding of grant proposals.
