Role DescriptionThe Facility Solutions Manager is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Central City, KY, with a mix of in‑office, on‑site client visits, and some work‑from‑home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing day‑to‑day service delivery for a portfolio of client facilities, including coordinating janitorial and maintenance services, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring that agreed service levels are consistently met. The Facility Solutions Manager will build and maintain strong client relationships through regular site inspections, proactive communication, and prompt resolution of service issues.
Daily tasks include reviewing work orders, scheduling and dispatching service providers, monitoring quality, and documenting service performance. The role also involves collaborating with the sales and operations teams to identify additional service needs, support renewals, and contribute to continuous improvements in processes and client satisfaction.
- Experience in facilities management, property management, or related services, with the ability to coordinate multiple building maintenance and janitorial services.
- Strong client relationship and account management skills, including proactive communication, conflict resolution, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Solid organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities to manage multiple sites, schedules, and priorities.
- Basic financial and business acumen, including comfort with budgets, service proposals, and vendor cost management.
- Proficiency with office and field technology (e.g., CRM tools, work order systems, spreadsheets, and mobile apps) and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, including travel to client sites within Central Kentucky as needed.
- Previous experience supervising or coordinating subcontractors or service teams is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular site visits.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, facilities management, or a related field is a plus.
