The University of the Cumberlands Facilities Services Admin reports directly to the Director of Facilities & Safety Operations and provides administrative support to the Facilities & Safety Department. This position assists with daily operational functions, financial processing support, event scheduling coordination, and general office administration to ensure efficient workflow within the Division of Facilities & Safety.
Responsibilities- Maintain and distribute the daily campus event schedule
- Assist with the maintenance and accuracy of the University event calendar
- Serve as back‑up issuer of purchase order (PO) numbers in the absence of designated staff
- Process invoices as assigned and assist with financial documentation
- Cross‑train on door access and card permission systems to provide support as needed
- Provide general office administrative support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries
- Assist with record keeping and document management
- Support operational projects and initiatives as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced office environment
