Housing Program Assistant - Steven Point, WI

Work site: 1725 West River Drive, Stevens Point, WI
Start Date:As soon as possible
Starting Pay: $18.98-$20.88 per hour, depending on experience
Status:Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Benefits:Paid time off, holidays, 401K (6% match), life insurance, access to health, dental, vision and disability insurance.
Duties: The Housing Program  Assistant provides administrative and program support forhousing stability and housingassistanceservices.

Using a trauma informed approach, this position is responsible for processing applications to determine eligibility, aligning client resources and facilitating direct and in-direct financial assistance for qualified households.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in business, human services or related field plus one year of related experience, or high school diploma and plus three years of related experience.
  • Experience with housing assistance, income eligibility calculations, and/or case management is preferred.
  • Moderate proficiency in Office 365 Suite, and database management software.
  • General practical knowledge and/or experience with coordinated entry systems, assessments, referrals and client prioritization.
  • A qualified candidate must demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and organization in all aspects of their work.
