This Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) posting will be used to fill vacant positions at our Buena Vista location. There are endless opportunities with the CDOC.
The Buena Vista Correctional Complex is comprised of two separate facilities – Buena Vista Correctional Complex (BVCF) and Buena Vista Minimum Center (BVMC). The Buena Vista Correctional Facility was opened in 1892 under the name of Colorado State Reformatory. The Buena Vista Minimum Center was opened in 1999.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONHigh School Diploma or a GED certificate.

Additionally, for transfers per Administrator Regulation (AR) 1450-09 IV (A) (5) (a) When an employee has completed one year at their current facility/office and/or classification, the employee is eligible to request a transfer.
